Best results when applied thick. Glaze has been applied with squeeze tube for beaded texture. Glaze has been applied with 1 cm thickness for crackle texture. Best if applied on to underglaze. If applied to an active, melting glaze, gloop will ooze and will lose its beaded shape. Designed for cone 5/6 firing.

from 26 reviewsMagic Puff is well magical. It sticks really well to greenware—even if the piece isn’t perfectly fresh—and it doesn’t flake off like some other stuff I’ve tried.
The biggest thing is how much it expands in the kiln. Like… a lot. You don’t need much at all, and it puffs up into this really cool cloud like texture!
It’s also super easy to work with—it stays where you put it, doesn’t run…
I used a brush to apply and added 3-4 coats… make sure you see it crackle!
I love it and will be making a super rainbow and sheep next!
Always a fun selection of glazes and perfect for experimentation on pieces.
Wizard Glaze Review – Fruity Pebbles 🍒✨
I tested @wizardglaze Rose Fruity Pebbles, and it completely transformed this piece. The glaze creates a beautiful crystalline, speckled texture that breaks through the surface in clusters that honestly remind me of cherry blossoms blooming across the cup.
For this test I layered:
• @amacobrent Chun Plum
• @maycocolors Green Tea
• @wizardglaze Rose Fruity Pebbles
• Amaco Ice
The Rose Fruity Pebbles is really the star here. It produces these raised, organic bursts of color that push through the plum base and create incredible movement and depth. The effect almost looks floral — like soft cherry blossom petals scattered across the surface.
What I love most about this glaze is how dynamic and unpredictable it is. Every piece comes out a little different, and the texture gives so much visual interest without overwhelming the form.
If you like glazes that create dimension, texture, and well Fruity Pebbles effects- this is definitely one to experiment with.

Excellent customer service!!
Love the effects of the glazes from wizard. They come out exactly the way the examples show.
I love wizard glaze! I did an entire pot in this crawl and it turned out really great. This brand has consistency and wonderful customer service. I'm excited to order more!
Such a fun glaze! I love the tactile quality it adds to pieces. Has great control- and doesn’t move much when applied on underglaze (I still fire on a cookie just in case since it’s a community studio- but I’ve never had a problem). Will definitely be picking up more colors!

super sick - I've been trying to emulate moss with my glazing and this crawl is really unique compared to others available
I love this glaze. Make sure to apply one THICK layer or you will not get the crawl...
How to Apply Gloop
Collapsible content
Instructions (in depth!)
1. Pour out any excess liquid when you open your jar. Gloop functions better with minimum water content.
2. Shake or mix gloop.
3. Gloop works best with a pudding or frosting consistency. If you want to dry out your gloop you can leave the lid off overnight.
4. Apply underglaze to your ceramics. Gloop sticks best to an underglaze base. It is not recommended to apply gloop to an active glaze because it will lose its shape.
5. Apply gloop to underglazed ceramics
- Fill squeeze tube with Gloop and apply pea size balls to get the pearl droplet effect.
- Apply Gloop as a thick paste to get the crackle effect. Paste should be roughly 1cm thick for optimal texture.
6. Fire to cone 5 or 6
7. To protect kiln shelves you can put a layer of kiln dust under your ceramics to ensure no gloop sticks to kiln shelves.
8. If you want to glaze the exposed underglaze you can apply a low fire glaze all over or simply around the gloop. Fire again to low fire temperature according to low fire glaze instructions. Gloop will not melt again at this low temperature and you will have a fully glazed piece. This is a good option if you intend to use the piece for food and need to glaze over the underglaze.
Temperature: Cone 5/6
This glaze was designed for cone 5/6 temperatures. It will not melt at lower temperatures. Gloop will melt more at higher temperatures (cone 7 and up) making it act more like Meltdown.
Cone 5: 2160F or 1180C
Cone 6: 2200F or 1200C
Food Safe?
This glaze has not been tested for food safety, yet!
Conforms to ASTM-D 4236
